Datahut is a cloud-based data mining platform built by Hashwave Technologies. Datahut helps companies get structured data feeds
from websites without the need to write code. Companies like Ebay and Nielsen have chosen us over more established incumbents and we’d like you to help us build on that momentum.
We are looking for product engineers to help us further develop the platform This will be a full time, perfect for passionate programmers to learn bleeding edge technology.
As a Product engineer, your main focus will be on enhancing the existing data mining platform.
Work with the rest of the Datahut team in building new features and resolving bugs.
Work on improving the automation capabilities of Datahut platform.
Build integrations and API’s to meet customer demand.
Requirements for Applicants
You should have a good grasp on Python Programming language
Open source contributions are a huge plus
Even better if you have experience in competitive programming
Collaborative team spirit with good communication skills
Accountability and the ability to learn new technology faster.
Ability to work independently, Should priorities tasks & take initiatives.

You will be given a programming task which you need to complete in 10 days
The hiring team at Datahut will review your code
Selected candidates will be invited to schedule a 45min screening call with a member of the executive team.
Next, candidates will be invited to schedule a first technical interview with Tech lead
Once the Tech lead gives a green flag, you’ll be onboarded to the team.
The first three weeks of the job will be used to evaluate your performance based on a number of metrics like accountability, coding skills, communication skills, ability to learn things etc.
There will be a review at the end of three weeks after which we’ll decide if you are a fit.
